GTA 6 PC Release Could Arrive Sooner Than Previous Rockstar Ports, Says Corsair VP

Corsair Gaming's financial VP, Ronald van Veen, recently commented on the much-anticipated PC port of GTA 6, which has yet to be officially announced. According to van Veen, "GTA 6 is probably the one everyone is talking about. And we’ll get a glimpse of that, I think, later on in the year for console." He went on to say that his current understanding is that the game will be released for consoles in the fall, with a PC version arriving in early 2026.


This sentiment was echoed during the earnings call, where Corsair Gaming co-founder and CEO Andy Paul mentioned that GTA 6 is "still likely a year away" from launching on PC. This suggests that the PC gaming community is preparing for the possibility of a faster port than what Rockstar has done with previous titles like GTA 5 and Red Dead Redemption 2, which took over a year to make their way to PC. Based on these comments, it could be just a few months after the console release before GTA 6 is available on PC, which would be a welcome relief for many who have eagerly awaited a new GTA game.


However, it’s important to note that this information has not been officially confirmed, and the release date for the console version is still unknown. For now, fans will have to wait for Rockstar to provide more concrete details, including possibly another trailer in the near future.
