Last week, accessory maker Dbrand shared a carrying case for the Nintendo Switch 2, which might have revealed the design of the new console. According to the company, the render is based on 3D scans of the Switch 2.
Now, more photos from a Chinese accessory manufacturer have leaked. Although the images focus on cases for the Switch 2 and don't show the entire design, they give a clear view of the console's precise shape.
The shape matches closely with how a Reddit user, who claimed last weekend to have held the Switch 2, described the console. This person reportedly proved to Reddit moderators that their claim was true. Several details mentioned by this person, like a U-shaped kickstand and a mysterious button under the home button on the right Joy-Con, can be seen in these new photos.
While there is still no solid proof that these photos, renders, and information are real, there seems to be an increase in leaks about the Switch 2 since last week. It is still unknown when Nintendo will officially reveal the new console, although the company has said several times that it will happen before April 2025.
