Spider-Man 2 is swinging over to PC users on January 30, 2025, making it the latest PlayStation exclusive to make its way to Steam and Epic Games Store.
The news was revealed by Insomniac during NYCC 2024 wich is running over the weekend.
Playstation their games on PC have been quite the controversy due to the requirement of having a Playstation Network account.
There is honestly not a lot to expect, Sony Entertainment also told that the highly requested Venom DLC will not be added to the game, making gamers have quite mixed feelings about this release.
They also say the following: "Spiderman 2 for PC refines a successful formula of combat and web-swinging without revolutionizing either in major ways, making them comfy and familiar with just enough new tweaks and abilities to elevate them to fun new heights."
To me this sounds like it will basically will be the same game with a new number, but we will have to wait to know for sure since the information about this game is still very limited. Based on Sony Entertainment their information this does seem to be the case
Nixxes Software, which worked on porting the two previous Spider-Man games, will once again handle development.
